Just happened to see a video of the new facial recognition software that can be used to authenticate somebody access to your smartphone. A brilliant idea in that if you were using the feature and happened to have your mobile stolen, they may not be able to gain access to the handset.
This is just one of many new and exciting features that comes to Android 4.0 (will be posting full review soon). It also comes in conjunction with news that Siri on the iPhone 4S could be a serious potential security flaw. Reason being it can be accessed from the lock screen and so if your handset is stolen, you can then use Siri to repeat back to you personal details that have previously been stored on the phones memory. While Apple claim there is a button to turn Siri off, Siri is on by default.
Anyway check out the video of Android 4.0's new facial recognition locking software!
